The 2011 A G M  of IMASA members held in the picturesque Goudini was held on 7 September 2011 and formed part of the 13 th National Conference of IMASA which, in itself was a  huge success story, thanks to the efforts of the Western Cape Branch. The AGM formed an integral part of the Conference Program, and although no quorum initially assembled, succeeded in finalising a number of very important issues. The inability to assemble with a quorum appears to be an on-going problem and should be addressed.

For the first time we had an international member also attending the AGM. She is Ms Dyanne Reese, a former President of the IIMC and in the employ of the City of Savannah , Georgia in the USA. She joined IMASA in 2008 at the Durban Conference when IMASA was celebrating its 10 th anniversary and was the first international member. IMASA was further very privileged that three Past Presidents viz. Francois Allers, Selby Gibbs and Ria Heitbrink also attended the meeting.
